Continuing, full time appointment
Academic Level A, $66,864 to $100,312 per annum
Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave

As a VET Lecturer/Workplace Assessor - Construction you are responsible for the development and delivery of training whilst working under the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and the VET Quality Framework and to the competency standards of the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package. You will deliver training programs through flexible learning environments including, classrooms and/or other nominated teaching locations/workplace environments either on or off campus and remote areas of the Northern Territory. Experience providing training within a workplace setting or educational institution will be highly regarded.
To be successful you must possess a trade qualification in construction or carpentry and relevant industry experience equivalent. A qualification equivalent to a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), or the willingness to obtain is a requirement of this position.
Crucial to this role is your passion for construction, your engaging presentation style, and your enthusiasm and personal motivation to train and inspire students to succeed.
