Our client is a successful business specialising in ship repair; heavy industry, engineering, repair and maintenance services. Operating in Darwin, this company has established a great reputation and is seeking additional workforce to assist with its natural growth.

About the role
You will be expected to assist and support multiple trades including boilermakers and mechanical fitters, assisting with maintenance of worksites and equipment and predominantly responsible for the workshop upkeep.
Skills and experience
A can-do attitude, with a high-level awareness for safety
Be reliable and punctual
Experience within a Trades Assistant supporting various tradesman would be highly regarded
Previous experience in marine or fabrication industry would be highly desirable however not essential
Work will primarily be performed in confined space areas, applicants must be comfortable working within this environment
Hold a current and valid driver's license
White card
Confined space
Working at heights
To work on this project, you must be 18 years or older and an Australian citizen
You will be required to complete and pass a project-specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
Hold a current Police check - Within 6 months
