OUR CLIENT:

Based in the CBD, our client is a builder working on projects in both the commercial and residential sector, priding themselves on working on their collaborative and transparent approach, ensuring that their clients have a positive experience and that their expectations are exceeded, not only with the quality, but also the project’s timeline and budget.

This is a 40hr/week contract role with the view to permanency upon successful completion of the project.

PROJECT:
The project is a substation in the NE suburbs of Melbourne.

• 20 week program
• $1.5M budget

Duties include:

• Programming and coordination of subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries
• Liaison with the CA to identify variations & claims
• Maintaining & developing rapport between site teams, internal and external consultants
• Ensure health & safety standards on site
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure programs & budgets are adhered to

YOU:

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Experienced (+ 5 years) as a site supervisor on commercial or infrastructure projects
• Experience on similar substation projects are highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of commercial new build construction techniques
• Ability to build strong relationships and liaise with subcontractors to achieve best outcomes for the project
• Good working knowledge of programming projects & ability to read plans
• Experience in working in a fast paced environment
• Trade background highly regarded
