The firm is an internationally recognized heath specialist architecture practice working on hospital, medical and aged care facilities in Australia and abroad.

The role suits a Senior Project Architect with previous hospital / health project experience who can oversee large-scale complex projects from the initial design stage through to completion.

What you will be doing:

• Be collaborative, engaging to facilitate and support User Group engagement
• Apply your in-depth knowledge of clinical planning, AUS HFG guidelines and other relevant health experience including architectural design, design construction procedures, statutory building codes, and knowledge of materials
• Be proactive in managing the consultant team to promote holistic and coordinated design and documentation
• Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, and visualization to influence project outcomes and maintain high standards of project delivery
• Write and contribute to reports and specification documents and prepare detailed drawing documentation
• Be thorough, meticulous and have a strong attention to detail

Experience required:

• 10 years experience minimum within Health (Hospital) planning / Architecture
• Experience within briefing discussions with the client and user groups
• Hospital Fit-out experience i.e preparation of 1:50 loaded drawings, including briefing discussions with the client and user groups
• Preparation of Room Data sheets using Drofus software
• Proficient in Revit & Drofus
• Architecture qualification
