Role Description:

As a Landscape Construction Apprentice, you will undertake a wide range of mostly hard landscaping activities including work site assessment, building and installing retaining walls and timber landscape structures, ie fencing. Whilst attending TAFE QLD, you will be required to complete a Certificate III in Landscape Construction.

The majority of the work is located on the South side of Brisbane.

Duties May Include:

• Bricklaying, paving, building stonewalls & features
• Installing drainage systems, irrigation and waterproofing
• Set out site for construction works
• Retaining walls, fencing and other timber structures
• Pool coping and surrounds
• Implement soil improvements for garden and turf areas
• Contribute to work health and safety processes
• Some Landscape & garden maintenance
• Laying of turf

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be Australian or New Zealand citizens, or Permanent Residents
• Construction White Card required
• Drivers licence and vehicle essential
• Previous experience in landscape labouring/horticulture and or Cert II in Construction Pathways an advantage
• Loves the outdoors and physical activity
• Strong commitment and desire to learn the trade
