The Company:

Join a company that designs and builds their own test equipment for in-house use and local and overseas customers.

The Opportunity:

Working within the R&D team alongside an experienced Electrical Engineer and a hands-on Engineering Manager, you will provide mechanical design, drafting and project management expertise.

The Role:

Your challenge is to work on multiple time critical projects including but not limited to;

• Producing assembly drawings for equipment being shipped overseas
• Updating existing drawings
• Mechanical design
• Hands-on prototyping / machine builds

There is scope to grow further in this role, with current in-house robotics & automation projects, and the potential to travel interstate and internationally to company and customer sites.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Mechatronics or equivalent

What you will bring to the team:

• A curious mind and proactive attitude to learning and development
• Ability to think on your feet, a problem solver
• Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience -Inventor ideal, SolidWorks considered
• Experience in automated machine or test measurement instrument design highly regarded
• Experience with small teams and strong communications skills
