The role

As a Lead / Engineering Manager within the Python squad within our most recent acquisition, TheUrge, you will be responsible for the development and deployment of a complex crawling and data processing pipeline. We are looking for experience both managing teams, and being hands-on in crawling and at least 5 years of technical experience working with Python, serverless and terraform on AWS.

What we are looking for

• 3 years (minimum) experience as a Tech Lead / Engineering Manager
• 5 years (minimum) experience with Python development
• Python async/await experience is essential
• 5 years (minimum) experience with AWS (Lambda, ECS, Serverless, Terraform)

Bonus points for

• Experience with Scrapy framework
• Experience with Data processing
