Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking applications from experienced Regional Construction Project Managers, with experience in manufacturing precast. Based in Benalla, opportunities exist for a candidate with strong management experience to maximise operational and production efficiencies.

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be accountable for:

  • Ensure health, safety and environmental risk controls are implemented in consideration of the construction and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance of the precast products through testing, examining and progress inspections
  • Planning and procurement of quality materials required for manufacture
  • Support the timely manufacturing of precast elements through the management of Sub-contractors, Project Engineers, Supervisors, Surveyors and Cost Engineers
  • Manage cranes and rigging operations, inclusive of lift studies and plans.
  • Knowledge from lessons learnt transferred to Project Engineers, Supervisors and workforce
  • Risk management and overseeing preparation of working documents
  • Co-ordinate identified site instructions in the manufacturing process with Quality Manager
  • Ensure the effective implementation of design changes
  • Cost control and forecasting management
  • All process changes are implemented in accordance to policies and procedures
  • Control and coordination of site-based construction civil works
  • Management of on-site industrial relations


Our Minimum Requirements For These Roles Are
  • Minimum of 15 years practical experience in Construction, Civil Engineering and Precast Manufacture.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing people
  • A thorough understanding in the construction of Match cast segments, including the construction of Rio reinforcement cages
  • Experience in controlling lift operations.
  • A thorough understanding of, and experience in, all relevant specifications, including how they influence manufacture and early detection of potential non-conformances
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Comprehensive understanding and ability to comply with Vic Roads standards
  • A strong understanding of Australian Construction and/or Manufacturing industrial relations.
