D Group is a family owned and a preferred supplier for major developers and builders in the Canberra region with Construction, Civil and Hydraulics divisions.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking to employ enthusiastic and passionate new team members.
Reporting to the Civil Production Manager and Project Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include:
· Manage and coordinate all staff and subcontractors on site
· Coordinate trades and labour
· Organise all resources/materials required
· Ensure the project is delivered on time and meets quality and budget targets.
· Demonstrated background in Civil Supervision
· Good on-site problem solving expertise and attention to detail
· Successful track record with planning, organising and time management
· Well-developed interpersonal, communication and computer skills
· Compliance with WHS Policies and Procedures and all WHS legislative requirements
· A sound understanding of civil construction methodologies and standards
The successful candidate must:
· Min 5 years’ experience
· Proven track record in civil arena including early works & bulk earth works
· Excellent organisational and communication skills
· Experience in reporting and policy monitoring
· Intermediate computer skills
· Construction White Card , Asbestos Awareness Card & relevant tickets
