Qantas has a NATA accredited Calibration laboratory covering a wide range of Calibration equipment. Joining our team as a Calibration Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining Calibration Services compliance with company, manufacturer, international and domestic regulatory standards, determination of uncertainty levels and Proficiency Tests, review and development of calibration procedures and providing in-house training and support. You will also be monitoring changes in regulations that will affect calibration Services to meet CASA/FAA/EASA/CAAC/ISQ/OH&S and SAFE requirements.

You’ll have -

  • Minimum of 5 years Calibration Engineering experience

  • Currently hold a Bachelor of Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia

  • Strong technical report writing skills

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team

  • Strength in being able to work collaboratively and to establish working relationships with external stakeholders and at all levels with internal Qantas stakeholders

  • Demonstrate willingness to multi skill and learn new technical and non-technical skills.

  • Ability to meet Corporate and Divisional/Departmental Service Standards.

  • Ability to comply with Corporate Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities Standard.
