Afternoon Shift Electrician
Programmed Skilled Workforce is a leading provider of managed workforce and training services.
Our client is a premier supplier of steel reinforcing solutions for commercial, residential and civil construction as well as the mining and agriculture industries and the manufacturing sector, with a strong team culture and a reputation for providing a safe working environment. We are currently recruiting for an experienced afternoon shift technician, to be based in the Revesby area.

About your new role:
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, Equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system
About you:
- Previous Experience as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician within a Manufacturing or Production Environment
- Hold a valid Australian Trade Qualification as an Electrician
- Experience in PLC: -Alan Bradly, Seimans
- Experience in VSD and Industrial Control: - Alan Bradley, Danfoss, Lense, SEW
- Instrumentation and Industrial Controls
- SCADA, Proven experience in both Breakdown and Preventative Maintenance
- Demonstrated fault finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics
- Have a proactive approach, whilst holding safety and customer as core values
- Confident communicator who can work unsupervised
- Possess a commitment to Quality and Detail
- Exceptional time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines
