What you can expect to get involved in onsite:

  • Being safe on the job and taking care of your teammates' and our clients' safety. Really important, but you already knew that. Assisting the Site Services tradies to so they can safely perform accurate and timely repairs onsite, complying with any planned maintenance schedules and variations including job instructions, procedures and job cards
  • Scaffolders - in another nutshell, are responsible for the ummmmm….scaffolding. Putting up scaffolding, taking it down and making sure it's safe by including support braces, guard rails and other cool safety gear.
  • Being on your a-game, as you have a very important role.

What you need to get you on track to be Minprovise's next best Scaffolder:

  • A minimum 12 months experience in mining or a similar heavy industry
  • A Confined Space ticket (with a 3-year validity) & Working Safely at Heights ticket (with a 3-year validity), or willing to obtain.
  • You have the ambition to be the best onsite, but you are down-to-earth enough to bring your work mates up too.
  • You are an all-around legend on the job, a 'solutions' type of person.
  • We've said it before, and we'll say it again - Safety!
  • You don't need to hit the gym every day, but you do need to be fit enough to meet the physical demands of the job. Plus, you'll need to pass ongoing drug and alcohol screening and a pre-employment fitness for work medical so make good choices.

Minprovise offers:

  • An exciting opportunity to come onboard with a thriving, forward-thinking company that genuinely cares for its people.
  • Job for life - clear career paths with opportunity to move upwards and outwards for aspiring and hardworking individuals.
  • We provide all tooling on every site specific to each job, so there's no need to risk losing your own. But for health & safety reasons, we ask you to have your own scaffolding belt.
