EBSA is a specialist supplier of commercial window automation hardware and architectural glass louvre systems. Our projects span from Hobart to Cairns and feature in nearly every architectural publication in Australia. We work directly with commercial builders of all sizes on projects including schools, hospitals and high-rise towers.

An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified candidate to join the Sydney branch of a national leader in the automated facade industry.

The successful candidate will have:

• a good understanding of ELV circuitry & supporting power supply systems
• a good understanding of electronic circuitry & associated components
• general fault-finding capabilities - previous experience in this area would be beneficial
• the ability to read complex schematic and circuit line drawings
• an understanding of building management systems and automated control systems, that are found in current commercial buildings
• a basic comprehension of MODBUS protocol
• installation experience relating to ELV cable & cable support pathways
• general hands-on experience, with regards to the installation of controller housings and associated hardware components

The position requires an immediate start, so in addition to the above, the successful candidate must be proficient in the use of the SCS configuration software (D+H Mechatronic AG) with a minimum of 12 months practical experience; and should hold a current certificate of competency for the platform (applicants who hold an expired certificate but are able to demonstrate a high level of competency are encouraged to apply). 

Remuneration will be offered according to the applicant’s experience.
