Our client is a world class industry leader with highly productive operations across Western Australia and has globally, grown to become known as one of the leading producers. With a strong operation, our client is looking for a Contract Process Engineer to join their team on a 6-month assignment with the possibility to go permanent.
As the Process Engineer, you will FIFO from Perth on a 8/6 roster and will be required to form part of the technical support function on site by providing statistical analysis through qualitative data to the operations and maintenance team.

Directly reporting to the Superintendent, you will also be responsible for:
- Provide technical support and CI initiatives across the plant to ensure the execution of production is delivering high potential, meeting business targets.
- Provide technical support in projects that can be otimised to ensure top quality product and performance of the plant production
- Reporting: Daily, weekly and monthly
- Assisting the team in identifying improvements that can be made to support plant performance
- Monitor the process of the operation and ensure the results are accurate
To be suitable for this role you will need the following experiences & qualifications:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- ~2 years minimum experience in iron ore or bulk commodity
- Experience across various mineral processing operations
- Familiar with CI initiatives/ strategies for medium - large scale operations from a production and maintenance perspective
- Experience with SAP ERP and MS Office is a must
- FIFO or remote operations experience
