About the Company:

We are specialist contractors providing services to the construction in Australia for more than 30 years. We are seeking for an experienced Solid Plasterer to join our team on a full time basis. The position is to be responsible for all aspects of plastering, including, installing plaster wall partitions; ceilings and smoothing surfaces or fixtures on residential, commercial and industrial buildings for ADSEAL GROUP clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Install insulating, fireproofing and acoustic materials and finish by binding them with plaster materials
• Measuring and cutting plasterboards for pre installations
• To apply fillings, varnishes, stains, vinyl and to walls and structures;
• Lifting and positioning panels and securing them walls and ceilings
• Preparing corner fittings such as measuring and cutting
• To complete other duties according to blueprints, architect's drawings, or oral instructions, using hand tools and portable power tools
• Installing fireproofing materials such as plaster, plastic cement and others
• Mixing and applying plaster coats and render structure fittings, using plastering devices such as trowels, also patch plaster breaks and cracks
• Transport materials to and from work sites and safely operate a variety of tools and equipment
• Mix plaster and cement and apply coats to walls and ceilings using different tools and equipment
• Compliance with OH&S guidelines;

 Work Experience and Skills

• Relevant Qualification;
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and power tools;
• Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork abilities;
• Able to work efficiently with and without supervision;
• Well versed in maintenance, cleaning and debris removal tasks.
• Good communicator, ability to work with other trades

Salary: AUD55,000 -65,000 plus super
