JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role:
This Government Agency is required an Engineer with experience designing and developing automations using programming and scripting languages, integrating automations with other IT systems, setting up CI-CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for automation solutions, ensuring alignment with existing business systems and technical roadmaps
  • Undertake automation tasks using relevant software development tools and methodologies
  • Promote automation solutions and provide subject matter advice and guidance in area of expertise
  • Develop trend reports regarding automation improvements, highlighting benefits realisation
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, including development of technical and process documents 

Required:

  • Extensive experience as an Automation Engineer
  • Experience with Scripting languages such as Powershell and Python
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools
