As a Building Maintenance Officer, you will work with the Facilities Management Unit to oversee the operation of building maintenance and minor projects for Council’s portfolio of buildings.

As a Building Maintenance Officer, you will work with the Facilities Management Unit to oversee the operation of building maintenance and minor projects for Council’s portfolio of buildings.
You will also be responsible for:
- Management of minor improvement works for Council’s buildings.
- Assisting with Council’s program of graffiti removal, key management and security works (CCTV and access control).
- Relevant experience in building maintenance, facilities management, project management and/or construction. A relevant tertiary qualification would be highly regarded.
- Experience in managing proactive and reactive maintenance programs will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge and understanding of best practice OH&S.
- Knowledge and understanding of contract management methods, systems and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
