The main purpose of the role is to ensure commercial integrity and accuracy for bill of quantity submissions toward the client and towards the supplier.
To support the design team and build team with site specific technical and contractual queries.

Key Responsibilities:
* Verification and approval of supplier's bill of quantities (TAF/SBOQ)
* Preparation and submission of customer bill of quantities (TAF / CBOQ)
* Liaise with local SAED team on commercially impacting queries
* Liaise with local build team on commercially impacting queries regarding methodology, scope and content of bill of quantities (TAF/CBOQ/SBOQ)
* Liaise with subcontractors on commercially impacting queries regarding build methodology, scope and bill of quantities content (TAF/SBOQ)
* Ensure alignment with local CPT site solutions team regarding design changes and site build materials
* Understand and able to refer to local build market methodologies and site-based conditions
* Provide real time clarity bill of quantity (TAF/CBOQ) status to stakeholders
* Update NDPd with CPT updates
* Maintain end to end visibility on site costs and sales through the Stockman tool from feasibility to final account

Deliverables/performance measures:
* Tracking of subcontractor Bill of Quantity requests and submissions
* Tracking of client Bill of Quantity requests and submissions
* Ensure real time status of all Bills of Quantity is available to stakeholders
* Ensure that all 'in-flight variations' are processed in an accurate and timely manner from receipt of variation in the Bill of Quantity tool through to subcontractor purchase order release (end to end)
* Ensure that all CPT pricing engineer role functions in Site Forge are maintained and up to date
* Ensure that all changes are reported in e.g. the daily scrum meetings. Specifically: re-forecasting, actualizations and associated milestone notes.
* Peer reviewing of other pricing team members pricing submissions
* All supplier bill of quantities is reviewed, responded to and agreed within a timely fashion
* All customer bill of quantities is compiled, submitted and any queries responded to and agreed within a timely fashion
* All 'inflight variations' are processed through to client submission.
* All the above are entered into the Stockman tool as the primary data base for bill of quantities and bill of materials items.
* NDPd related tasks pertaining to the pricing engineer's role are addressed on a daily basis
* Assist and present at the daily scrums to report on BOQ status

* Experience of end to end telecommunications site rollout cycle within the Australian environment
* Experience of telecommunications site build cycle within the Australian environment
* Experience of telecommunications site SAED cycle within the Australian environment. Preferred experience with database input and reporting.
* Knowledge of local market build methodology and site conditions
