About the role:

• Responsible for the delivery of projects, including project management (including scope, budget and timelines), facilitating technical communication between stakeholders, performing hands-on engineering and contributing to technical and project related documentation.
• A core focus of project management, technical customer relationships delivery of professional services. 
• Ultimately play a key role in the development, enhancement and delivery of an industry leading email product.

Selection Criteria 

• At least 5 years’ experience or more
• At least 2 years’ proven capability in a technical engineering role (Infrastructure, DevOps or similar)
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of an agile team environment with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent system administration skills (Linux, NGINX, MySQL, DoveCot, Exim)
• Logging and monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools like AWS CloudFormation, Ansible and Bitbucket
• Solid hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Bash & Python
• Knowledge of networking components such as DNS, HTTP, TLS/SSL and certificates
• Proven troubleshooting techniques to effectively manage incidents
• A Bachelor (or higher) degree in a technology field, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrable influencing skills and strong commercial awareness
• Shows a high level of initiative, is proactive, leads by example
• Demonstrated strong organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to identify improvements, determine priorities, multi-task and effectively and efficiently meet strict deadlines

Desirable

• It is highly desirable that the candidate has experience in email server technologies
• AWS certification
• Database management and administration experience
• Knowledge in information security architecture technologies and IT Security principles
• Experience working with global teams across different time zones
• Demonstrated experience in a customer facing role (both internal & external)
