This company is a long established developer and EPC contractor within the utility solar, battery storage and micro grid project space. They are a loarge global company and are entering a growth phase in the Australian market. They have a strong financial backing with an impressive pipeline of work.
About the Role
Lead design and construction work on a solar farm project to ensure it meets contractual obligations as well as ensuring the projects are built to the company standards and Australian specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of a solar farm project ensuring it meets contractual and client standards.
- Lead and become familiar with project schedules and help deviate and adjust schedules to support on-time project requirements
- Prepare project status reports and provide input into all engineering, design and construction documents
- Manage and support subcontractors
- Support supply chain, engineering and on-site teams to ensure the project is delivered according to the correct standards and timeframes.
- Complete technical studies and prepare cost estimates
- Conduct field inspections of the work in progress and share any deviations or deficiencies with construction manager and other QA/QC Team members
- Review all subcontracotr QA plan & procedures and bring all plants into conformance with project requirements.
- Lead the review process during all portions of the project
- Relevant Degree in Engineering
- Renewable Energy experience is preferred, if not then must nhave stong construction experience.
- Successful track record in project engineering/management
- Strong leader wih a background in leading a team.
- Successfuly able to build relationships with internal stuff, sub contractors and clients
- Exceptiuonal team player
- Strong analytical and computing skills.
