A leading specialist provider of power transmission, distribution and substation services across Australia. This role is responsible for supporting the

establishment, development and delivery of profitable Projects. The role is responsible for producing accurate and

timely design solution tender deliverables, value engineering, risk identification & management and project delivery support.

The role is required to develop and maintain a close relationship with key internal and external stakeholders including operations personnel, key clients, design consultants and contractors.

Success Profile

Knowledge (and skills) Competencies

• Tertiary qualifications at degree level in civil or structural or associated qualifications

• The ability to identify and develop compliant Civil design outputs

• The ability to identify and develop compliant Structural design outputs

• Knowledge of Procurement processes

• Knowledge of Tendering Systems & Bid Processes

• Knowledge of Customer Drivers / Customer Needs

• Industry knowledge

• Good knowledge of national and international technical standards related to engineering design

• Driving Execution, Driving for Results, Seeks Innovation

• Customer Focus which builds customer loyalty

• Collaborating with Others, Coaching

• Continuous Improvement

• Information Monitoring, Decision Making

Desired Experience 
• Substantial and demonstrated experience in design and project management for energy networks or related sectors
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to promote and represent the company to our customers
• Qualifications in Engineering, Civil/Structural
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role and with a proven track record
• Experience working in Bid Teams
• Experience in Solution Development
• Experience in Construction Industry
• Experience in building & maintaining working Relationships
• High attention to detail
• Strong work ethic, Strong sense of Ownership
• Initiative, Enthusiasm and personal drive
• Team player, Autonomous, Ability to multi task
