My client has been at the forefront in the design and manufacture of innovative motor soft-starters for over 20 years. They provide solutions to a wide range of sustainable industries including solar, HVAC, back-up generators, marine, military and recreational applications. Based in the Illawarra region in NSW, their international market reach spans Australia, the USA and Europe.

About The Role

This pivotal role is ideally suited to a person who has recently graduated with an Electrical/Electronics Engineering degree from a reputable university or an experienced Quality Engineer looking for a new challenge.

Who You Are

  • Hold an Electrical/Electronics Engineering degree from a reputable university or equivalent experience.
  • Have an understanding of the operation of single and three-phase motors.
  • Passionate about quality systems.
  • Ideally have prior exposure to quality systems including ISO framework and QA/QC process in a manufacturing setting.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Developing quality systems that focus on consistent and accurate manufacturing outcomes.
  • Implementing and monitoring standards for ISO accreditation including auditing and documentation.
  • Driving a standardised approach to workflow and promoting a continuous improvement mindset in the company.
  • Engaging all stakeholders across operations to promote on-going quality improvements.
  • Supporting the production line to mitigate any quality concerns.
  • Supporting sales on technical enquiries related to field installation.
  • Maintaining an updated global compliance folder.
