Your new company
My client is a well established commercial formwork company who specialise in full structure packages for the top tier 3 builders in Melbourne. Due to an increase in demand from their clients, they are looking to bring on an estimator to head up their team and work alongside Directors.

Your new role

• Manage the tender estimating and cost planning processes for allocated tenders.
• Thoroughly reviewing tender documentation to develop accurate SOW, BOQ and Cost Plans
• Issuing trade packages to sub-contractors and ensuring trade quotes are received
• Reviewing & analysing subcontractor quotes and negotiate to obtain best prices

• ideally, circa 3 years as an Estimator for a structure contractor/builder in Melbourne.
• Exposure on projects up to $5m.
• Ambition to commit to the company long term.
• Team player mentality with strong communication skills.
• Degree or qualifications related to construction/Estimating.
• Must have experience in Melbourne or Australia as an Estimator/QS
