About the role

As part our Cyber Security Practice, this role works closely with the other Professional Services teams, as well as the Product & Technology, Sales and Operations teams to define, develop, and promote cyber security offerings that provide real value to our customers.

This role is a good mix of Presales Solution Architecture and Governance, providing thought leadership, guidance, and strategic advice to our customers on cyber security matter.

Part of your responsibilities will be: 

  • Establish, deliver and maintain our Cyber Security service offerings with a focus on repeatability.
  • Drive the technical qualification, scoping, estimation, assessment, design and delivery of new or existing opportunities 
  • Create technical documentation relevant to sales, provisioning and operations of the business (tender/RFP responses, technical design)
  • Become a “trusted advisor” within key customer accounts
  • Collaborate closely with the Cyber Security Practice Manager and Product and Technology team to develop and implement our Cyber Security Technology roadmap.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst our technical community
  • Maintain current knowledge of cyber security trends, emerging technologies and best current practices. 

Skills & experience

  • Experience in a consultative pre-sales role with strong technical presence and confidence
  • Experience across a broad range of technology streams, including Systems, Infrastructure, SaaS, Private and Public Cloud. 
  • Proven ability to create and present complex business and technical solutions
  • Subject Matter Expert in Cyber Security, covering some of the below:
    • Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware (Systems and Endpoints)
    • Digital Forensics and Incident Response
    • Email, Web Gateways, CASB
    • Intrusion Detection and Response
    • Next Generation Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls
    • Patch and Vulnerability Management
    • SIEM and Log Collection/Correlation
    • Gap analysis, implementation and ongoing management of compliance programs (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, ISM etc)
  • Proven ability to innovate, adapt and work under pressure in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and firm deadlines
  • Working knowledge of relevant standards, security frameworks and regulations i.e. ISO, NIST, ASD ISM, PCI DSS
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or equivalent and Vendor certifications such as Palo Alto, IBM, Trend Micro, F5, Rapid7, Splunk, Zscaler, Carbon Black, OSCE, CISSP/CISM/CRISC
