We are currently seeking graduates with a passion for technology, interested in building their career in software and IT.

WorkingMouse is a software development agency in Milton, Brisbane. We use our unique Way of Working and Codebots technology to deliver and support successful software solutions for our clients. These clients range from startups to large enterprises and Government departments.

About the role

Your position as an application support developer is to resolve and respond to customer tickets in a timely fashion. You will have exposure to working with modern tech frameworks and our Codebots technology. You will get to work on a variety of client projects and gain exposure to vastly different industries. While we are approaching 60 people, we still feel like a small company at heart. We live our values every day by pushing the boundaries of our knowledge and its application into the projects we build for people. We are big on teamwork and asking "how can I help"?

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

- Take responsibility for policy compliance, test coverage, and code reviews

- Liaise with our customers and our Development teams to resolve an important technical issue

- Write, update and maintain code to a high standard

- Use our Way of Working as your guide to embracing the tools, processes, and patterns that will ensure clear and consistent customer delivery

About you

We are looking for a person who:

- Has the ability to adapt to change and challenges

- Able to problem solve and think laterally

- Can build customer relationship and instill confidence and trust

The right person has

- Demonstrated experience working in comparable Application Service Desk position

- Worked in an agile program delivery environment

- Experience working in customer-focused projects

- The ability to identify and implement process improvements to the way we work

- Basic scripting and programming experience, extensive PC experience.

- Familiarity with support tickets, knowledge-based systems

- Knowledge or experience with the following

Java + Junit

C# + Xunit

HTML5, CSS/SCSS

PHP

Angular / React / Marionette

SQL – MySQL, PostgreSQL

Cordova + Appium

Selenium + Cucumber

Jenkins

***Note that we do not require or expect you to have experience in all of these areas! If you have half or more, you're good to apply.
