AHS Field Builder
Work location: Cloudbreak
Roster: 8D/6R, 7N/7R - FIFO ex Perth
Critical to the success of Fortescue’s operation of Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) trucks, this role is accountable for the effective utilization of the Autonomous Haulage Fleet using Command Minestar.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Effectively manage a fleet of trucks and deliver on key dispatching metrics, as well as ensuring maximum utilization of machines to drive safety, productivity and costs.
- Execute and manage fleet to achieve 24-hr plan
- Communicate effectively with Mining Supervisors/ Coordinators and Control Team
- Build virtual mine model ensuring actual matches virtual
- Support the team in achieving Key Performance Indicators
- Responsible for mine model optimisation to achieve highest throughput in dynamic areas
- Plan and manage all dynamic areas in conjunction with the two-week plan
- Management of all virtual zones including blast, speed and traction
Qualifications and skills required:
- Demonstrated experience in an open cut mining environment would be advantageous, however candidates with Engineering or IT backgrounds can be trained.
- Advanced computer literacy skills and a passion for Innovation and Technology
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to multitask on several activities/priorities at the same time
- Proficiency of Fleet Management System is advantageous but not essential
- Mining Operator experience is highly regarded.
- Current WA Drivers Licence
