About The Role

We are currently seeking to employ an experienced Supervisor- Civil / Earthworks in a FIFO opportunity. This is an integral role in ensuring safety is adhered to at all stages of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Supervising teams of subcontractors, ensuring compliance with Laing O’Rourke’s health, safety and environmental rules and regulations.
  • Supervising multi-disciplinary civils works scope, ensuring that all site works are carried out in accordance with approved designs and requirements.
  • Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure an open dialogue of communication.
  • Preparation and input to monthly and weekly reports.

You will have
As a suitable candidate for this role, you will hold previous experience in a Civils Supervisor role. You will have proven experience leading and working on multiple large-scale projects.

Important to your role, will be your ability to demonstrate a safety conscious approach to your daily work along with excellent problem solving and organisational skills. You will lead from the front and encourage collaboration between your team and other departments to allow the best outcomes for the project. Your excellent communication skills and solid understanding of issues is crucial to your ability to interact effectively with the wider team and stakeholders.
