Bricklayer

Permanent Full Time

Salary from $1,270.82 up to $1,453.04 per week plus superannuation

(Salary will be assessed based on skills, experience and qualifications)

This is a unique opportunity for a qualified Bricklayer to join our City Works Team.

About the Position:

Our dynamic team are looking for a trade qualified bricklayer who is looking for an opportunity to work in a large organisation.

This position works alongside Council’s Construction crews in order to maintain councils’ footpaths and walkways across the Wollongong LGA. You will be responsible for all types of maintenance work, mainly brick paving, emergency and scheduled works with the possibility of working overtime.

This position is physically demanding, and you must be capable of undertaking the duties associated with the role as described in the job description.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Trade Qualification in Bricklaying
  • Brick Paving experience
  • MR Drivers licence or willing to obtain
  • Be able to work unsupervised and in a small team
  • Be capable of undertaking physical duties


As part of this recruitment, we will be holding a practical assessment.
