Large Australian engineering and Manufacturing Company with teams around the world needs a CAM Programmer for their Melbourne site.

Based in the Boronia area you will be working with the Engineers and CNC Trades people using CAM software to program CNC machines.

Your role will be to create production process of components and tooling with precise dimensions and material consistency ready for CNC Machining. You will develop and design work and select cutting tools plus utilise CAD/CAM to develop programs and tool path models.

This is an exciting and challenging role in a company that is renowned for manufacturing a world class product.

This is NOT an operator's position but a programmer role.

They are in need of a trade's person or Engineer with knowledge of CNC Machines that can CAM Program and work closely with the engineering and CNC teams.

We are looking for someone with the following skills

• CAM programming skills.
• CNC Okuma Multitasking Machine programming experience.
• NX Unigraphics / UG Experience.
• Experience with Okuma IGF ideal.
• Trade or Engineering qualifications.
• Must have excellent communications skills.
• Must be an Australian Perm Resident

Excellent conditions are on offer for the successful applicant. This is a fulltime position contract for 6 months or more working on the day shift. Potential perm.
