My client, a leading data driven product innovator, is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join their technology team to drive Cloud Transformation with their growing demand for their Digital services.

This role requires someone with well-rounded hands-on experience within DevOps AWS environment. The main focus currently is helping develop serverless environment, using CloudFormation framework. The firm are moving the majority of their systems to the cloud, developing new AI driven products & tools so this is a great opportunity to get stuck into a major project a develop your experience.

Role and responsibilities:

Creating in-house AWS in an Agile environment 
Implementing systems that are highly available, scalable and self-healing
Understand, implement and automate security controls, governance processes and compliance validation
Keeping up to date with new AWS offerings
Working with cross functional team for best fit solution

Experience

Extensive Experience building DevOps environments
Well versed in internet architectures including web, application and database components
Experience with EC2, CloudFormation, serverless environment 
Experience using CI/CD tools 
Familiarity with load-balancing for resilience and scaling.
Scripting skills
