Job Summary

Role is part of Point of Sale implementation for a Tier 1 Telecom Operator. Role requires understanding of D365 F&O Retail, POS, Power Platform, Upgrade, and Azure DevOps particularly from functional/technical perspective

Mandatory Skills

  • Should have strong professional experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365FO including multi-phase, multi-country, enterprise-wide implementations with customizations for Tier 1 Clients
  • Extensive functional experience in D365FO X++, Retail, POS, Platform upgrades, Cloud Architectures, deployment and configuration of On-premise environments
  • Excellent knowledge of Telecom processes and its impact on overall eco-system of Client mandatory
  • Understanding of client applications landscape and its Business function would be added advantage
  • Experience with developing real time services, including services with authentication, workflow, forms with data lookup and validation and integration to backend systems via web service APIs
  • Works collaboratively with practice leadership team to grow, develop and enhance solution best practices, tools and methods, and intellectual property.
  • Demonstrated ability to review, interpret and respond to business requirements and create logical models of components, interfaces and processes from which system designs are developed
  • Drive agile ways of working in Operations and Development. Ability to appreciate latest technologies, trends and implement in the stack
  • Able to Analyze, understand, and dissect business processes and re-engineer with best practices
  • Contributes to company growth and revenue generation through identification and proactive pursuit of new revenue opportunities
  • Wider understanding of ERP business processes from a Financial, POS, Retails and Supply Chain perspective as well as extensive Dynamics AX & Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience, with a background of delivery of large-scale finance, retail, and supply chain solutions.


Duties And Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer business needs, understand the current application landscape, draw the road map for applications like Retail POS and Replenishment, and define the strategy for rollouts and D365FO platform upgrades, define strategy for stores configuration across the locations by consulting with the stakeholders.
  • Responsible for handling all activities related to the POS modules, and will be expected to have technical and functional capabilities.
  • Research new functional implementations and preparing/performing product demonstrations
  • Responsible for engaging with key stakeholders in the management framework to put in place, stable and scalable solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, and assist with the on-going development of niche vertical solutions
  • Required to guide Functional Consultants during the design and build phase of the project pipeline ensuring the solutions effectively interact with business requirements.
  • Take ownership of all aspects of Dynamics 365 F&O functionality, working with the business stakeholders and principal enterprise sponsors, ensuring the business best practice of Dynamics 365 F&O and successful delivery of the program.
  • Define the strategies for various legacy systems integration
  • Demonstrates strong qualitative analytic capabilities, particularly in relevant strategy formulation areas such as client, industry, and management issues/challenges.
  • Building partnerships and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to determine the services, delivery criteria, and solutions for issues that may arise
  • Guiding Functional and Technical team members by providing solutions, conducting Class room pilot (CRP) training for users and production live support
  • Determining ways to reduce costs without sacrificing customer satisfaction
  • Take full ownership of end to end project delivery and deliver in alignment with existing SDLC process

Salary Range: $80,000 - 120,000
