JOB DESCRIPTION

Expanding residential builder in Sydney’s West is currently looking for an experienced Construction Administrator. This position offers a long-term employment opportunity where you will be an integral part of a growing business. With a fun and dynamic environment this is a rare opportunity with career development while assisting clients through their highly invested journey of building their Home.


Position Objective

  • Being a reliable, helpful and empathetic point of contact for the builder's clients.
  • Take responsibility for managing client's expectations.
  • Performing tasks in an accurate and timely manner within guidelines.
  • Building strong relationships with internal team members and external clients.
  • Above all. Creating a memorable experience for the client as they embark on building their dream home. 

Duties:

  • Pre-Construction coordination
  • Arranging colour appointment meetings between clients and suppliers
  • Presenting client price variations
  • Signing off variations
  • Chasing up supplier pricing
  • Chasing up client’s selections with suppliers
  • Construction coordination
  • Managing the day to day running of each project
  • Leasing with site supervisors
  • Organising and receiving supplier/trade quotations
  • Scheduling trades/suppliers/material on a weekly basis
  • Managing payments to trades/suppliers
  • Budgeting/Financial tracking per job
  • Cost allocation

Competencies and Qualifications

  • Construction Administration experience with a home builder is favourable
  • Great communication skills
  • The capability to deal with difficult situations and provide a solution
  • Great IT skills – MS Office
  • Experience in CRMs favourable
  • Accounting software - Xero
