You will be an integral member of the IT Operational support team, where you will perform analysis and support functional or corporate deployed service(s) using fundamental problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting known and unknown hardware issues related to corporate issued or provided desktop, laptops, mobile devices (phone & tablets), peripherals, and associated accessories.
  • Troubleshooting known and unknown software issues related to Windows 10, Microsoft Office (M365), Outlook, Skype, Teams and other corporate deployed desktop and Microsoft Applications, including Windows Updates.
  • Building and reimaging a corporate issued PCs for New Hires and performing any necessary hardware repair or upgrades required to solve the end user productivity issues. Hardware replacement will occur after diagnostics are run to confirm hardware repair, replacement, or upgrade.
  • Ability and experience using desktop imaging software.
  • Documenting solutions and incident resolution case notes in English in assigned Ticket systems.
  • Troubleshooting of LAN/WAN issues impacting employee productivity. This will involve a demonstrated understanding of networking basics, TCP/IP, VPN, secure access methodologies, and wireless technologies.
  • Performing inventory management, reporting, and ordering for area of responsibility according to company policies using company and organizational applications and tools. This can include, but is not limited to Asset Management of PCs, mobile devices, hard drives, memory, VPN Tokens, LAN cables, docking stations, monitors, keyboards, mice, productivity accessories.

Key Requirements:

  • Completed IT Bachelor’s degree or Diploma within the last 2 years.
  • Recent post-graduating experience in a face to face environment IT Help desk or similar environment.
  • Experience with multiple infrastructure environments and understanding their relationships (e.g. operating system, hardware, data centre, security, network, voice, mobile devices, end user and server / web related applications).
  • Hardware certification such as A+ or equivalent an advantage.
  • Microsoft certification(s) an advantage.
  • Network certification such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent an advantage.
  • Experience with business Information Technology (IT) applications (e.g. supply chain, customer relationship management, HR, finance) will be considered a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) reference model.
  • Strong initiative, problem solving, priority setting, and collaboration skills
  • Broad technology knowledge of Cloud (eg Azure, AWS).
  • Networking (LAN/WAN/Wireless) experience.
  • Security, Databases, End User Productivity Applications, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple IT teams and achieve results.
  • Previous experience in providing similar support in large complex organizations an advantage.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and analytical/ problem solving skills.
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service in face to face and remote situations.
  • Strong team player.
