This position is working with a leading subcontractor in NSW. They work on civil infrastructure projects and specialize in major infrastructure projects. They are a specialist in the industry and have a well-established reputation. They are well-positioned for some of the landmark projects in civil infrastructure across Sydney and are offering long term career prospects. The position requires an individual that can lead by example and manage and improve their high ethics for safety.

The role requires you to have at least 2 years of experience in a similar safety position. This will ideally be with a subcontractor environment delivering on civil or construction projects. You will require an excellent attitude to safety processes. 

Requirements for the role: 

• Tertiary qualification and/or Cert IV in OH&S 
• Minimum of 2 years experience ideally with a subcontractor 
• Integrated Management System to support and manage HSEQ 
• Internal auditing experience
• Knowledge of legislation, standards and codes of practice
• Experience with and a strong understanding of ISO 9001

The company have an established HSEQ System but it will need adjustments for both the current work environment of 2021 as well as future changes to the industry.
