Your new role

My client has a newly created vacancy for an experienced Construction Manager to step into a successful team of the business working across a wide range of electrical utilities projects. You will have experience working on similar electrical distribution or transmission construction projects and come from a strong electrical or civil background. You will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager for the full day to day construction activities and managing all stakeholders involved in the construction process. Experience in the electrical utilities is crucial in order to be successful in this role, specifically with electrical substation construction.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a Construction Manager role in the electricity networks within Australia
• Construction of large electrical infrastructure experience is crucial
• Must be a strong leader and have experience scheduling and managing the construction process
• Managing budgets and controlling costs to achieve financial outcomes
• Proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skills
• Electrical trades background with relevant supervision certificates is desirable
