This is a permanent position with the requirement to be primarily working at the client site in Parramatta.

What will I be doing?

• Show users how they can maximise the value they achieve from the deployment of content in their IBM contract
• Define and present modernisation roadmaps for customer platform and capabilities by applying IBM Hybrid cloud strategy and solution patterns
• Constantly build enduring relationships throughout the client and IBM teams.
• Use case identification, solution architecture design, MVP builds
• Work with client Architecture, development and operations to develop timely, highly relevant technology points of view and proposals.
• Apply your customer insights to assist with defining key customer solution components and platforms leveraging IBM's software portfolio.
• Own and co-ordinate any IBM software deployment escalations to resolution
• Participate in the governance and software lifecycle management of the contract

What skills and experience should I posses?

• Demonstrated technology and thought leadership as a consultant, pre-sales, technical account management, enterprise architect, or equivalent
• Ability to understand and translate customer business vision and strategy into a clearly articulated program architecture and roadmap
• Proven experience in initiating and progressing hybrid cloud and modernization conversations
• Demonstrated ability to build and leverage extensive relationships throughout client and vendor organisations.

It would be helpful to have:

• Experience and/or credibility in a Defence, National Security or Policing context
• Hands-on experience with Containers, OpenShift, Value Propositions, Use Cases, and competitive differentiation
• Technical understanding of Middleware / Data & AI / Cloud Native
• Understanding of enterprise software implementations, SaaS / IaaS / PaaS and cloud applications

The successful applicant must have the ability to work in Australia without the requirement of sponsorship. In addition they must be eligible to be able to obtain at least NV1 Clearance or other client specified clearance as required.
