ABOUT THE COMPANY.

A Local Council in the Central Tablelands of NSW currently have an opportunity for a Town Planner to join their team. This particular team plays a key role in contributing to the delivery of the Councils development services. Be a vital member of a collaborative and supportive team environment.

ABOUT THE POSITION. 

As a Town Planner, you will oversee a range of subdivision, residential and commercial developments ranging in complexity and scale. You will report to the Development Manager of the division and work alongside other planning professionals.

DUTIES.

  • Assess development applications
  • Negotiate development solutions
  • Undertake site visits and investigations
  • Respond to customer enquiries
  • Represent Council and liaise with key stakeholders

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

  • Degree qualifications in Town Planning (or related)
  • Similar experience in NSW Local Government
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
