The client

Our client is a fast growing and award-winning team specializing in energy storage system and integration solutions in the residential and commercial sectors. They provide advanced turn-key lithium battery storage systems, controlled by EMS and their cloud base system with cutting edge algorithm to improve product lifetime and efficiency.




The role

To facilitate their fast growth of business and project development in WA Australia and the wider SEA countries, our client is looking for a Commissioning and Service Engineer to provide customer support to their battery products and systems at commercial scales. The role will look after the technical and engineering service across system installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases.




This role requires a degree of technical aptitude and the ideal candidate will be customer-centric with excellent communication & problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work autonomously and flexibility to travel and respond to on-calls. The role will report to the C&I engineering team in the company's headquarter based in China.




Responsibilities

  • Providing commissioning and O&M technical support on C&I battery storage systems in WA and wider SEA countries.
  • Maintaining the highest safety standards.
  • Commissioning, troubleshooting, analysis and repair of products via telephone, email and site visits.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while striving to minimise the cost of the service.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of company products and associated accessories.




Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy/PV, or other related fields.
  • Min. 2 years of experience in technical customer service role for solar inverter products and systems, experience in battery storage is highly favoured.
  • Working knowledge in electrical work and related safety and technical standards for commercial sites.
  • Fluent English speaker, with Mandarin speaking skills desirable.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, conflict resolution and an analytical mindset.




The role will be home office based in Perth with site traveling within WA needed from time to time. The company will offer full training of their products and opportunities are available for career progression for high performers.
