The role

As part of our Corporate group, the Sales Director Civil Solutions will identify and pursue opportunities in the integrated security solutions market with a focus on new business in the government, emergency services, health, education, defence and commercial infrastructure sectors. The solutions will involve the delivery of the OneView physical security information management system. The role can be performed from Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney or Brisbane and reports to the General Manager Sales and Marketing in Adelaide.

Further, The Successful Candidate Will

  • Work collaboratively with senior internal stakeholders and technical sales support personnel
  • Identify customers and conduct assessments of the market to define business opportunities
  • Engage and brief external stakeholders including security consultants, suppliers, builders and government on Saab products and capabilities
  • Identify possible partnerships for the delivery of projects
  • Prepare market strategy and capture plans, including key prospect attributes, and actions to pre-position/secure opportunities
  • Prepare presentation material and deliver customer sales presentations
  • Contribute to the preparation of tender responses

About You

Your skills and experience will include:
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Building professional relationships and trust with external and internal stakeholders in order to understand customer requirements and offer a range of solutions
  • The ability to develop strategy and capture plans
  • Sale and/or delivery of integrated IP-based security systems or similar
As Defence security (NV1) clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance. International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations also apply and your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
