The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate’s employment at the University. The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement. Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement.

Full-time, fixed-term position available for 3 years

Exciting opportunity to assist with the course development of our Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine (BMD) program

Working under general direction and in close collaboration with other team members, the Course Builder is tasked with supporting the end-to-end development of courses within the Learning Management System (LMS) including page layout, learning resources, and learning activities using existing templates and a variety of graphic design, video, scenario-creation and educational technologies within the scope of the Curriculum Design Project (CDP).

The Course Builder is also responsible for supporting the capability development of teaching staff to sustain, maintain, and deliver courses developed within the LMS. The Course Builder works collaboratively, taking an agile and iterative approach within a tight production schedule, to deliver excellent student learning experiences.

To Be Successful You Will Need

  • Experience in designing online learning resources, ideally within Canvas LMS.
  • Demonstrated user-centred approach to design and development.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and edit interactive multimedia.
  • Experience in front end development, using WYSIWYG applications, and working with a wide range of education software applications.
  • Ability to think clearly and logically to sequence and program online interactions, with an attention to detail.
