Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and service regional projects in the Bendigo, Ballarat and Shepparton region.

Job Description

About the Role:

You'll work with Engineers, Surveyors and Landscape Architects to integrate electrical and public lighting design for subdivisions, road projects, open space, drainage, water and sewerage reticulation and other related infrastructure works.

Responsibilities include:

  • Project planning, engineering design and delivery of electrical design packages and pursue of compliance for various subdivision and infrastructure projects
  • Assist in delivering the design and documentation of projects for clients across the Spiire offices.
  • Deliver project tasks to budget, resolving technical issues and collaborating with other disciplines to provide to provide a holistic services design.
  • Attend meetings and briefings, communicate with other team members.
  • Be supported by a community of practice for career development.
Desired Skills and Experience

About You:
  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
  • 5 + years relevant working experience
  • Knowledge and experience with relevant design and engineering software.
  • Detailed technical understanding of electrical engineering principals.
  • Knowledge in subdivision HV distribution, LV network and distribution, LV protection, Fault Loops, Voltage Drop, Cable Sizing.
  • Knowledge of public lighting design and related software would be advantageous
  • Working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
  • Willingness to contribute in a team to achieve project and business deliverables.
  • Eligible for, or hold PM2 (Powercor) accreditation
  • Functional Autocad Proficiency
