Downer Water Services are seeking a Construction Supervisor in a fulltime permanent role in the Water Services Program with City West Water in Melbourne. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Construction Supervisor position will be based from our Campbellfield, Victoria depot, central to the City West Water network project areas.

The Construction Supervisor will support all operational teams with the Water Main Renewals program with the Water Pipelines business.

• Provide expert technical advice to the Project Delivery and wider Alliance teams
• Support contract/project manager, lead field crews to achieve quality and production objectives
• Ensure resources including raw materials, fixtures and fittings are organised
• Impart knowledge and coach the Pipelines team
• Report on progress against schedules for the delivery of Projects

• Demonstrated experience in water pipeline construction, trenching, connections and shutoffs
• Interpret technical drawings and construction documentation
• Provider technical guidance to construction team, support internal stakeholders and deal with clients
• Skilled in use of computer software within construction
• Relevant industry qualifications
