As a trade-qualified Auto Electrician you will be working with the best known and respected brands within the commercial vehicle industry. Position duties and key tasks:

• Assessing, servicing, and repairing VGA’s customer vehicles
• Ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards
• Prompt reporting of any concerns to Supervisor
• Maintain safe working conditions and practices
• Responsibility of workshop equipment and be equipped with a comprehensive hand tool kit

Experience, skills and qualifications:

• Trade Qualified as Auto Electrician, possess a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or similar
• Possess solid work experience as an Auto Electrician repairing and servicing heavy commercial vehicles
• Previous diagnostic investigation experience would be advantageous, however not essential
• Be a team player, open and honest who consistently delivers an exceptional customer service experience
• Hold a flexible approach to business commitments to work alternative shift operations as required
• Enjoy working with process and policy
• Possess a solid understanding of safe working practices and risk management in the workshop environment.
