WHAT YOU’LL DO

This position is based in our Perth offices, with ad-hoc field work when required. We provide a broad range of Geotechnical consulting services across multiple projects. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team with a strong focus on client relationship and delivery.

  • Day to day running of projects from commencement to completion – i.e. Initiation, execution, safety & close out procedures
  • Planning and coordinating field investigations for a wide variety of projects
  • Develop technical specifications to meet project specific objectives
  • Coordination and oversight of site inspection and ground investigations including drilling, Cone Penetration Testing, and test pitting
  • Assisting in managing the project work financially, technically, and contractually
  • Analyse and produce engineering data including logs and reports, using appropriate classification, design, and analysis tools

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal skills who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. This position will see you working on large projects with major clients, to undergo various field investigations and consultative style work.

  • Previous experience in planning & execution of projects within a similar industry
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Geoscience, or a related discipline
  • Good understanding of engineering geology and mapping
  • Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and various stakeholders
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment in collaboration with like-minded team members and project teams
  • Prior experience undertaking field work in the Pilbara region or surrounds
  • Experience with geotechnical software packages such as Slope W, Slide and other RocScience packages, GINT, Plaxis beneficial
  • GIS and drone pilot experience looked on favourably
