About the role

BMD are in the market for a hardworking and diligent person to join our Belmont, Perth based estimating team as an Estimating Assistant.

  • Co-ordinate and send out subcontractor/supplier pricing packages
  • Maintain working relationships with subcontractors/suppliers
  • Complete quotation comparisons for estimators
  • Have a working knowledge of Drawings, Specifications and Quality, WH&S and Environmental requirements for all tender related activities
  • Ability/learn to read plans & specifications & be able to identify scope of work
  • Maintain SharePoint electronic filing system

To be successful in this role, you will need

  • Any prior experience in the civil construction industry will be highly regarded.
  • Absolute commitment to health, safety, environment and quality policies and procedures, embracing BMD's commitment to Zero Harm.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills.
