End User Computer Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Computer Engineer to provide a highly available and stable technology platform, with a focus on excellence in customer service and a deep understanding of our technical systems, business units and our customers.

Within this role you will manage technology incidents and service requests in a rapid, efficient and effective manner with a focus on continuous improvement and adding further customer value.

Skills & Experience

  • 5 – 7 years demonstrated experience implementing and supporting server solutions, particularly current Microsoft based solutions
  • Demonstrated ability in analysis, design and configure application/server-based systems
  • Technical implementation and support of End User and Endpoint Management services in the Microsoft 365 platform & Azure tenancy.
  • Technical implementation & operational support for the following cloud services
    Microsoft 365 & Azure components - ADFS, AAD Connect, Exchange Hybrid, App Proxy & Enterprise Apps, SSO, Intune, MFA, Conditional Access, Windows Defender ATP, and other integrated End User Compute services.
  • Technical implementation & operational support for the following traditional services Windows Server Infrastructure, VMware, Active Directory, Users & Roles, Managed Endpoint Devices, DNS, DHCP, DFS / File Server Data infrastructure, Printing Infrastructure.
  • Cloud Citrix Workspace platform
  • Automation and scripting of processes (PowerShell, JAMS, Flow, etc)
  • Strong problem solving, decision-making, research and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including report writing and presentations)
  • Proven ability to review and make recommendations to improve operational effectiveness
  • Proven ability to design and implement solutions to solve problems
  • Strong understanding of ITIL
