How will I help?

Reporting to the Financial Markets Domain Architect within Corporate Architecture team, you will be working in the Financial Markets domain.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering end to end solution for projects and ensure solution architecture aligns with roadmaps established by the enterprise architecture and adhere to enterprise architecture principles
  • Convert requirements into the architecture and design that make up the blueprint for the solution, balancing architectural concerns of the projects with the concerns of the enterprise
  • Accountable for facilitating high quality, timely IT estimates for solutions and roadmaps to ensure effective IT estimation of technology solutions
  • contributing to the development / maintenance of Financial Markets Roadmap
  • Creating / maintaining reference architecture that can be used to guide future investment as well as promoting standisation and simplification in the technology landscape

What do I need?

  • Extensive architecture experience in IT Industry/financial services, with domain knowledge in Financial Markets trading
  • Strong technical architecture skills with preferred expertise in building distributed system using event driven architecture
  • Experience across multiple architecture domains, including the implementation of architecture in large organisations required to ensure balanced solutions
  • Proven results in delivering major business solutions into production within multiple project teams
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architect disciplines and frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into enterprise architecture requirements
  • Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
