12 month contract for an experience Enterprise Architect to support a Modernisation Program Delivery team.


Your new company
Our client are a leading Federal Government department who are currently seeking the services of an experienced Enterprise Architect to support the Modernisation Program Delivery team.

Your new role
Working within the planning and requirements team you will determine the capabilities, services, processes and requirements needed to support a business case and delivery set up for the next stage of our clients program. This team is business led and is designing the future state from a service design and business capabilities perspective. The Enterprise Architect will be expected to develop a firm understanding of the holistic business current-state and desired outcomes, working with business Subject Matter Experts (SME) for domain expertise. Therefore, the ability to identify, shape and describe opportunities for technological innovation within the context of business outcomes and business problems will be vital to being successful in this role.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate experience fulfilling the following duties in a previous role:

  • Developing an operational understanding of existing IT infrastructure, Program Design Standards and work packages
  • Liaising with the Program Delivery Manager, Director Technical Assurance and other technical resources to ensure solution architectures align with Program architecture, road maps and design standards
  • Developing and/or review of technical documentation to support procurement, including participation in procurement evaluation activities.
  • Specifying key solution components and platforms, giving consideration to functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance.
  • Develop and actively manage key internal and external relationships, including collaborating with key stakeholders to identify opportunities, achieve outcomes and facilitate cooperation. In addition to representing and explaining architectural views in various forums.
