About the role:

We currently have a great opportunity available for a talented and experienced WHS RTW Coordinator to join our organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an organisation that is focused on delivering successful outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage all WHS activities and ensure compliance in all areas of WHS management
  • Drive and support a proactive safety culture through effective safety workplace management
  • Implement WHS best practices
  • Provide recommendations and guidance on all WHS matters
  • Continue the implementation of our Safety Management System
  • General WHS duties such as reporting, incident investigations, close outs, trend management, risk assessments, workplace site inspections, safety procedures, hazard management etc
  • Ensure prompt notification and escalation of new incidents of employee injury and/or illness, report on existing cases
  • Coordinate the return to work meetings, liaise with insurers and rehab providers and ensure accurate assignment of actions within set timeframes
  • Manage the return to work program providing guidance and support to managers and team members
  • Prepare and occasionally deliver training and communications addressing key issues
  • Maintain WHS systems and legislative compliance
  • Continuously inform and educate key stakeholders on relevant WHS industry updates/legislation
  • Your formal qualifications will be supported by proven experience within a similar role. As this is a standalone position, you will enjoy being hands on whilst having a consultative approach.
  • You will have an ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders on various levels.
  • Furthermore, you will be highly motivated, results orientated team player and be able to drive and deliver outcomes.
