MBM are seeking a QS with the following experience and skills to start in our Sydney office as soon as possible:

• Graduate of recognised QS degree course;
• Rail/infrastructure experience is advantageous;
• Recent AIQS/MRICS qualified beneficial but not essential;
• High level verbal and written communication, including preparation of reports for clients.
• Candidates must be an Australian Citizen or have permanent residency status

Duties:

Pre-Contract:

With supervision carry out preparation of, but not limited to:

• Initial budgets and benchmarking
• Elemental and trade-based cost plans
• Bills of quantities
• Pre-tender estimates
• Tender analysis
• Bank reports
• Provide tender methodology advice
• Able to value-add to Client’s brief and/or challenges the client’s view when appropriate
• Value engineering
• Other work as required

Post Contract:

With supervision carry out preparation and/or prepare, but not limited to:

• Progress claim recommendations
• Bank draw-down reports
• Cost reports and cash flows
• Variation valuations
• Other work as required
